Pulse Shanghan

This website is dedicated to introducing and sharing a clinical system that integrates classical pulse diagnosis with Six-Channel pattern differentiation. We share classical theories, clinical reasoning, practical experience, and authentic clinical cases, while providing a platform for students and practitioners of Chinese medicine to study, exchange knowledge, and deepen their understanding. We also hope to offer the wider public a window into the principles of traditional Chinese medicine.

We believe that true transmission of a medical tradition means more than preserving knowledge from the past. It means allowing classical medicine to regain vitality through clinical practice. Through continued research, practice, teaching, and exchange, we seek to preserve the art of classical pulse diagnosis, explore its value in modern clinical practice, and help the medical wisdom of the East gain broader recognition and pass on to future generations.

Our work is grounded in the Shanghan Lun while carrying forward the pulse-diagnostic tradition of the Menghe School of Chinese Medicine. We also draw on the classical foundations of Chinese medicine, including the Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon), Maijing (The Pulse Classic), Nanjing (The Classic of Difficult Issues), and Binhu Maixue (Binhu’s Study of the Pulse). Through research, clinical practice, and teaching, we seek to preserve and advance the traditional art of pulse diagnosis.

From San Bu Jiu Hou to Ren Ying and Fu Yang

Through years of clinical practice and research, we have systematically organized, reconstructed, and applied classical pulse-diagnostic methods, including Cun Kou, Ren Ying, Fu Yang, and the Three Regions and Nine Indicators (San Bu Jiu Hou). We explore their practical value in contemporary Chinese medicine and their place within a coherent clinical framework.

Pulse diagnosis is not merely about identifying pulse qualities. It helps us understand the underlying mechanisms of disease. Integrated with the Six-Channel pattern differentiation of the Shanghan Lun, pulse diagnosis, pattern differentiation, and treatment form a unified clinical approach.

唐绍华医生

加拿大卑诗省注册高级中医师

  • 1996年毕业于北京中医药大学，获医学学士学位
  • 1996年至2000年任职于中国中医研究院西苑医院
  • 2000年至今任职于加拿大中医研究院临床诊所

  • 《脉解伤寒·临证指南》作者
  • 长期从事传统脉法初级班及高级班临床教学

从业经历

  • 1996年：毕业于北京中医药大学，获医学学士学位。
  • 1996年至2000年：任职于中国中医研究院西苑医院，担任医师。
  • 2000年至今：任职于加拿大中医研究院临床诊所，担任高级中医师。

脉诊学习与研究经历

  • 2009年：开始跟随 Dr. Leon Hammer（里昂·汉默）医生学习飞龙脉法。经过数年系统学习与实践，熟练掌握飞龙脉法。
  • 2011年：跟随杨完人老师学习脉法的临床应用。
  • 2020年：由人民卫生出版社出版《脉解伤寒》。该书首次系统还原《脉经》《濒湖脉学》一脉相承的传统脉法及其临床应用，建立传统脉法1.0版寸口脉法系统。
  • 2024年：由人民卫生出版社出版《脉解伤寒·临证指南》。该书在《脉解伤寒》的基础上，进一步还原《内经》记载的三部九候脉法系统，即传统脉法3.0版，并详细阐述该系统的临床应用方法与相关医案。

唐绍华医生多年来持续从事传统脉法初级班及高级班的临床教学工作，致力于传统脉诊体系的研究、临床应用与传承推广。

徐激文医生

  • 2012年：通过德国国家 Heilpraktiker 自然疗法执业医师资格考试，开始在德国从事医疗工作。
  • 2013年：在德国明登开设首家中医诊所。
  • 2021年：在德国杜塞尔多夫开设第二家中医诊所。

徐激文医生在德国从事中医临床工作至今。多年来先后学习倪海厦医生的医学体系，并跟随黄煌医生学习；曾在北京鹤年堂、同仁堂等地跟随老中医抄方实习，并跟随唐绍华医生系统学习传统脉法指导经方临床应用，具有丰富的临床实践经验。

脉诊学习经历

脉法系统学习总时长超过820小时，其中传统脉法学习时间超过720小时。现已熟练掌握传统脉法1.0版内容，并获得唐绍华医生认可，成为传统脉法1.0版初级班授课老师。

  • 2012年至2016年：先后参加4次许氏微观脉法课程、1次寿氏疾病与心理脉法课程，以及1次韦氏S振荡脉法课程。
